ree

Getting this knowledge wouldn't really make a difference to you if you don't know what could possibly go wrong if you don't try to keep your mouth clean and free from microbes .So please check it out once you're done reading.

Your mouth provides everything harmful/disease causing bacteria needs to grow, divide and multiply

  • A place to stay

  • The food you eat

We would all agree that shelter and what to eat are the main needs of even human beings, it's not different for this micro organisms.

What are the things we must do to maintain good oral hygiene!?

  1. Avoid eating hot food- hot food causes discoloration of your teeth

  2. Try making the habit of brushing a lifestyle. Brush at least twice a day, morning and evening, for 2 minutes! (Yes you should stop brushing for long :D).

  3. Brush after meals especially after taking carbohydrate rich meals such as anything sugary, rice or potato- Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy for micro organisms. If allowed, the rate of bacteria division multiplies and their by products cause pungent, and bad breath.

  4. Don't rinse your mouth or drink any liquids immediately (water, juice etc) after brushing. This is to make sure the fluoride in your toothpaste acts for longer and protects your enamel. This won't be achieved if it is washed away with water. Give it an interval of about 10-15 mins to act before you drink anything .

  5. Don't use one toothbrush all year long. Change your toothbrush regularly because a worn out toothbrush will not be able to carry out the cleansing function effectively

These are general tips that can go a long way to help every and anyone at all. Incase of any questions or any oral health problems be sure to leave me a message and I'll give you tips for your case.

Lots of love :)
